In a significant move, the Government of Dubai has recently allocated 11,500 land plots to citizens and provided housing loans worth Dh7 billion to 7,000 beneficiaries. This initiative aims to support Dubai residents, particularly those with limited income, in their pursuit of affordable housing.
Under the guidance of Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, the Higher Committee for Development and Citizens Affairs, established last year, spearheaded these efforts. One of the notable initiatives is the Bayti program, which assists citizens with limited income who have already received housing grants but require additional funds for home construction, completion, and furnishing. Through this housing loan program, eligible individuals can secure the necessary financial support to realize their dream of owning a home. Moreover, the committee has undertaken extensive measures to facilitate healthcare services for 19,000 senior citizens, reinforcing its commitment to the well-being of Dubai’s residents.
