Emirates Unveils Wimbledon Partnership with Unique A380 Livery
Dubai, UAE – 28 June 2024: Emirates is making headlines as it steps onto the court as the Official Airline Partner of The Championships, Wimbledon. This prestigious event, taking place from 1 to 14 July, marks Emirates’ first year of partnership with Wimbledon. To celebrate, Emirates has unveiled a special A380 livery featuring the iconic Wimbledon logo and sporting silhouettes.
Special In-Flight Service for UK Flights
From 1 July, Emirates passengers flying to and from the UK will experience a special in-flight service. Economy and Premium Economy Class passengers can enjoy cream cheese mousse, strawberry compote, hazelnut streusel, and strawberry cheesecake. First and Business Class passengers will enjoy strawberries and cream, delicious pastries, and lemon strawberry cupcakes with a Championships logo dessert topper. Additionally, the iconic A380 Onboard Lounge will serve bespoke Pimms cocktails.
On-Ground Experiences at Wimbledon
Emirates will showcase its award-winning hospitality throughout The Championships. Fans can visit the “Emirates Experience” stand at the All England Lawn Tennis Club (AELTC) for interactive experiences and exclusive giveaways. Younger tennis enthusiasts can enjoy Roblox’s ‘Wimbleworld,’ featuring Emirates branded tennis courts and obstacle courses. Fans will also have a chance to win a memorable holiday to Dubai with Emirates Holidays.
Live Streaming and Exclusive Content
Emirates will screen Wimbledon matches live in its dedicated lounges in Dubai and the UK. Passengers can also enjoy the matches across the fleet on ice – Emirates’ in-flight entertainment system. Wimbledon’s official film from last year, along with tennis movies like “Gods of Tennis,” “Novak Unmasked,” and “McEnroe,” will be available on the dedicated in-flight sports channels, Sport24 and Sport24 Extra.

Emirates’ Strong Presence in the UK
Emirates currently serves the UK with 133 weekly flights across seven gateways, including London Heathrow, London Gatwick, London Stansted, Manchester, Birmingham, Newcastle, and Glasgow. The airline will also return to Edinburgh with a daily A350 service starting from 4 November 2024.
