One Za’abeel, the latest architectural marvel in Dubai developed by the Investment Corporation of Dubai, has officially clinched the Guinness World Record title for the “longest cantilevered building” with its remarkable structure, ‘The Link’ concourse.
The Link: A Structural Masterpiece
At the heart of this achievement lies “The Link” concourse, a stunning 230-meter-long structure that gracefully connects One Za’abeel’s twin towers. Situated near the iconic Dubai World Trade Center roundabout, The Link soars 100 meters above the ground, setting a new standard for architectural excellence. Its groundbreaking cantilever extends an impressive 67.277 meters beyond the development’s main tower, solidifying its place in history.

Remarkably, The Link was constructed in two meticulously planned phases over just 16 days, all while ensuring smooth traffic flow below. Phase 1 involved one of the heaviest lifts in the region, with a steel structure weighing over 8,500 tonnes seamlessly integrated over 12 days, utilizing over 110 special jacks and heavy-duty strand jacks. Phase two witnessed the lifting of the 900-plus-ton cantilevered structure over four days, showcasing the project’s engineering prowess and efficiency.
The Link isn’t just a structural marvel; it offers a world-class experience within its 230-meter span. Housing eight Michelin-inspired restaurants and boasting the UAE’s longest suspended Infinity pool, The Link promises unparalleled luxury and leisure opportunities for residents and visitors alike.
